Gift guide (For her)
Christmas is still over two weeks away, which means you still have time to deliver (and no excuse to resort to gift cards). Below is my carefully curated list for the lady friend in your life. I have and love most of the items; the others, I want (hint hint).
- Luminating sheet mask ($4) - Use on a plane, use every Tuesday night after your bath, use whenever you want to just glow because these masks are one of those products that really, truly work.
- Compact mirror ($30) - This is one of those little luxuries that you don't realize you need until you have it, and then you'll wonder how you lived without it.
- Olive wood cutting board ($12) - Pretty, cheap hostess gift for all of your holiday parties.
- Thermal pajama set (A steal for $12 right now!) - I wear four pairs on rotation. My husband prefers them paired with my mouth guard.
- Avocado huggers ($8) - I know. I couldn't believe something so genius exists, either.
- Photo books (From $49) - So much more fun to flip through than your iPhone album. And, you know. Less room for embarrassment.
- Rosehip facial oil ($54) - Probably my best buy of 2018. Experts will put a dot of this on your forehead, the bridge of your nose, underneath each eye, and the middle of your chin, rub in gently, and be CHANGED.
- Dolce Vita candle ($21) - You know those beautiful rooms you see on Instagram and Pinterest? This candle smells like those rooms would.
- Silk scrunchies ($39) - I'm so pleased scrunchies are making a comeback. Silk ones don't damage your hair.
- Monogrammed leather clutch ($50) - The perfect gift? Maybe. My friends gave me one of these with my new initials and then wisely told me to use it as a wallet, moving it from purse to purse or as a standalone clutch. Perfection.
- A chance to recharge (£22) - This Kalm event, hosted by one of my most lovely friends, is a chance to pause amidst the madness.
- Portable phone charger ($24) - Sometimes the night lasts a little longer than planned. Always have this and a swimsuit on you.
- Allbirds sneakers - ($95) - Another favorite purchase of 2018, go for the Tuke French Fry and they'll match everything.
- Luggage scale ($9) - The over-packing struggle is real. Take the post-trip anxiety of getting to the airport and finding out your bag is too heavy because of your souvenirs away with this.
- The Flavor Thesaurus ($26) - Recommended by a friend who swears you'll sit down and read it through like a novel.
- Lighted phone case ($53) - Ever been in a changing room with the most glorious, flattering lighting (I'm looking at you, Gap)? This case replicates that. If you're going to take selfies, you might as well like them.
- Notecards ($4) - And go ahead and throw in a sheet of stamps.
I got Whit the avocado huggers! Thanks man!
