Logistics mess

I'm in desperate need of song recommendations. I don't even know what's cool anymore - is Sam Smith even cool? - and I have a three-song list on Spotify that just plays on repeat. I'm going to go crazy. Please, please recommend good music. I do like Hozier's "Almost (Sweet Music)" in case you're also on the lookout.

I applied to five jobs today, some are reasonable and some are stretches. I think I really want one of them. My strategy here is the numbers game - quantity over quality. I went down to a little coffee shop called Milk Teeth in an area called Tooting. No one here seems to realize that's a funny verb.

We're getting some snow today! It's very light and very wet, but it's snow. Chicago would laugh, Atlanta would shut down. I think I'm supposed to find it enchanting, but mostly it makes everything gross and means you gave to take your shoes off before you come into the house, etc. Logistics mess.

Saw this text in a newsletter yesterday and enjoyed it, though it's entirely unrealistic. Something to strive for!

"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects." — Robert A. Heinlein
Have a terrific Tuesday.
