I seek you

The other day I was updating a profile and it asked it I wanted to list any of my chat profiles. I had no idea people still use these things - what are kids in college using? Texting? - but the topic has come up from time to time: at a bachelorette party we all talked about past handles (and realized most males had some variation of "pimp" included in theirs) and then at one party in ATL I suggested we all refer to one another exclusively by our high school handles (my Chinese-American friend Tyler would have been "aznpmp69" which is amazing in its own right but also confirms previously mentioned realization).

Me, my handles were lame innocent. First there was Yahoo messenger (butterfly_14395), then MSN (bugaloo30 - my BB-initialed boyfriend and I had status messages of K2 + B2 = <3), then AIM (I don't remember this handle, surely it cringe-worthy?). I never had ICQ (which I just Googled to discover a) it does still exist and b) the name comes from "I seek you"), but I always envied the kids who did. What were yours??

Valentine's Day celebrations last night went about as expected - our pasta making adventure lasted until about 11pm, it's such a tediuos process, and by then I was almost too tired to eat it. But! I've discovered the most delicious/easy sauce ever and haaaad to - fry up some chopped bacon in a saucepan, take out when done, in the same pan add 3/4 a cup of heavy cream and then 5 oz of gorgonzola and once the cheese has melted, mix in 1/4 c parmesan and the bacon. Stir the pasta right into it. Then we crawled into bed, comatose and full. Here are some pics to make you feel like you suffered through it all with us.

I don't think I'm trusted to do this step anymore.

We ran out of room on the rack.

I think the highlight was one of his gifts, he may disagree because he "doesn't wear white socks." Because that's what's so ridiculous about them.
