I was only ever in it for the food
Stock photos are a weird thing, lots of horrific examples out there peppered with extra limbs or blatant racism, but I think this one for a pair of fleece-lined tights takes the cake seeing as it seems to be set on a...toilet? Saw this and had to share it with ALL of my readers.
Happy Super Bowl Sunday! As much as I hate it, I predict a Pats win just because, well, they always do. I feel like it would have been great to be in my adopted hometown of ATL (peace up) for it, lots of potential celebrity sightings, but the nightmare that is Atlanta traffic is nice to watch from afar. I hope you're all gorging yourself on cheese-based dips and not pretending you're going to eat "sensibly" and really going for it for those of us that cannot. The game doesn't start until 11:30 here, which I simply can't be bothered to stay up for. I was only ever in it for the food, anyway.
We had the laziest weekend but did manage to beat an escape room. I think we're supposed to be prisoners of war, but we look like hobos/tramps. I sent the pic to my brother and he confessed he's out of touch with the latest fashions and asked if those were our real outfits...
Great time, 10/10.
Today we made brunch and then read the papers and napped and binged Luther and ate ice cream and then got into a bed with clean sheets before 8 because we've been married for five months as of last Friday, so we can give up.
